I would re-read your initial sales agreement. If you do decide to cancel your order, I'm almost positive your going to lose some if not all of your deposit. Thats what deposits are for.
What I also understand is that the authorization can also be taken away. And that if I happen to change my mind, I don't think any vendor can hold you to it unless it's for an actual service that has been rendered instead of a product.

As for the sales agreement, there really isn't one on paper as I did not sign anything. It was done by email and phone.

Heres my thing. If you back out... your deposit is gone. Unless your guy tells you that you can back out freely.

and the comment about not signing anything? Thats just crazy. How many times to you order stuff off the internet with CCs and not sign things? almost all the time.

IMO after reading all the above, You have NO choice at all... You have to buy where you deposited. (Unless your dealer gave you permission to back out)

One of the reasons why deposits are done by CC is just because of situations like this. CC deposits not returned can always be disputed. And I've learned for a fact that vendors don't like having CC charges being disputed - it wrecks their business worthiness.

After much deliberation, I think I've made a decision.
