my lease deal, your opinion or experience plz.

got a price on a lease in NJ for g37s: premium, nav, spoiler, kick plates, and tech. sticker price 43,xxx. and they want $4,ooo due at signing, which gets me to $400 a month for 39. 15k a year on the miles

i started off a couple days ago at $535 , $5,ooo otd. 39m. 15k

what do u guys think? from searching around so far doesnt sound super but decent. should i hold out for more and walk if they say NO?

that's a lot of the down.. but that makes your monthly payment pretty low though.. and like you said it's not a super good deal but it's decent.

Not sure how the market is in NJ but take a look at the deal I got in Socal. See if you can talk them under invoice. And how many dealers did you talk to? I got my quote thru the internet sales managers.

You need to start by negotiating the price of the car DOWN. Then negotiate the fees. Everything else will fall into place after that. Just make sure they dont pad the money factor by too much. Too many people play the dealer's game by talking payments. Talk about the car's price first.

Any reason you chose a 39 month term? All it does it make you pay for another year's tabs, getting only 3 months use out of them. Dealers like using these terms because the monthly payment looks slightly better vs. 36 month - but the difference is negligible because you have to cough up some money for tab renewal.
