I put together an excel/openoffice workbook to help calculate and compare lease quotes.

You should be able to get invoice+500 (or less) as others have mentioned.

Follow the link and hope you find it useful

Negotiate your price down to a few hundred over invoice. If the local dealer won't do it then take your business elsewhere.

Email a dealer & tell them you want invoice. Tell them on the forums you've read about lots of people getting invoice. That's what a lot of people do, & it's worked for them.

it's going to depend if there's only 1 dealer is your area odds are that he'll be stuck at MSRP ... however if you live in a area that has mult. dealership then pit them against each other. I've gone from MSRP to about 300 over invoice in the last two weeks of haggling. Its a buyers market right now so it's time to start sticking it to them like they've done to us ... within reason of course.

35 miles?? Dude that's like 20 minutes. I bought my car 350 miles away! Best thing you can do it wait a week or so, let them call you a few times and then try again.

Google "rizzo method" and you'll see it works. There are plenty of dealers within a few hundred miles of your location. Finding a dealer who will offer the price you want is a simple exercise and maybe a short car ride.
