How close to invoice are people seeing?

They wanted 39315 for

I said 700 over invoice....invoice is like 37,250 ...$2000 over is a little too much.

DId you get hte full option 1 that covers the tires, yr / 100k, all services, etc...?

There was a option 2 or 3 that was around that same amount I think....

i was shown 5 diff options, but it is really not accurate. u can pick or choose. u dont need to have a specific "option plan" i just took the 7 year 100k mile, the wheel and tire package, and the environmental protection.

I got $500 under invoice (invoice + $500 rebate). I told the dealer that someone had gotten invoice from them & I wanted the same (which is true). That someone got invoice before the manufacturer rebate came out, so I asked for it (doesn't cost dealer anything). I still have reservations about the process so I won't name the dealer until everything is good & done.

Initially I did purchase this from the dealer at cost for 1800, but decided to get it refunded. It's nice for peace of mind, but if anything, the major problems shouldn't occur until after the warranty period is over. At least this was the case for my last car as well.
