Chicago Dealerships Willing to Deal?

I am looking at purchasing a G37 Sport w/ Nav, Premium, and Spoiler. I have researched the car very well and with the information provided by all the users of the forum I am trying to get a fair deal. However, I have not found a dealership in the Chicagoland area that is willing to deal. For example, Infiniti of Orland would not budge on the price, the best that they could do was 300 under MSRP.

Has anyone been able to get a fair deal (e.g. invoice, under-invoice) in the Chicagoland area? If so what dealership and who did you deal with?

TIA

They wont come down at all, luxury motors infiniti quoted me MSRP and wouldnt come down. These fools offered me a 24 mth lease 15k, 0 down, $670 a month. The car had the same options you where looking for & that quote was after i called them to compare prices from a dealer out of state. They told me to come down and if they couldnt beat the price they would match it. After driving the car and sitting down to iron out prices that is the best they could come up with. My girl was looking to get a G37 as well and we both just walked out they blew 2 sales.

try going to indiana or michigan....i got my dealer to drop from 45.5k to 42.5k, a whole 3 GRAND!!! and 3 free oil change vouchers too...maybe its cause of the competition with american cars around here. u should consider a Michigan dealer after callin first, maybe Grand Rapids which is 3 hours away from the Chi.

I dunno if saving a few G's (no pun intended) is worth comin to the detroit area for u but I can refer you to my salesman that gave me my good deal (which i bargained for pretty hard) over at Suburban Infiniti of Novi, MI. I think he sacrificed a lot of his commission on my sale and didnt even care...Poor guy...He said he would send me a gift if I send him some business. This dealership (Suburban Novi) is on the West side of metro Detroit about 4 hours from Chi-Town...

I know how Chi-town is harder budgin on prices because Japanese cars have a bigger market there. Over here in MI so many people buy American because of Motor City so Japanese and import dealership dip lower on prices. My Dad got 5k knocked off sticker on his GS400 and that was a 7 years ago when the dollar was a bit stronger!!!!

Angry

I have already talked to a few dealerships and MotorWerks in Barrington (NW suburbs of Chicago) were willing to deal. I spoke with a salesman Scott Boerma who was cool and even aware of this website. ****ty thing about Illinois is if you are planning on leasing you have to pay all of the cars sales tax. Wisconsin doesn't!

Are you willing to come to Minnesota? Let me know if you are interested and I can hook you up with my salesmen. Great guy. I got mine close to invoice. I know they have about 10 G37s left on the lot and 3 6mt s left, which is what I got.

skates, you should go over to infiniti of columbus in ohio. they have a lot of g37s with different options and all. i got my 6mt with premium package, spoiler, splash guards, and trunk net for 37330. that is like 500 above invoice. have not try the other places because they was the only dealership that will go down on the pricing with those options.
