Wow, so many questions, haha.

I was in your shoes too a 2 months ago. I went through everything....the research, visiting many different dealers, talking to many many different sales persons/managers.....etc

What state/city are you in? What packages do you want on your G37?

I'd say don't get the tint from the dealer but through an outside reputable shop. call up some places and ask for it at invoice.

Decide on what options you want, find out what invoice price is on that car, email all the dealers around you,
(email works best, especially if you are new to negotiating) and ask for their best price on that car.
As the offers start coming in,( they will range from MSRP to $2500+ off) inform all the dealers that another dealer has beaten their price, keep doing this until they wont budge anymore, they will ask you what it will take to earn your business.
Now pick the dealer that you want to buy from, (close to your home or job etc), tell them that you have quotes from x# of dealers, and they are all chasing you for your business, tell them you will buy/order the car from them TODAY if they give you invoice price.
If the first choice won't go for it, go to your second choice and so on.
It worked for me.

are you willing to have your car shipped to you from CA? If so I can think of at least 1 dealer that will do that for you.

You can give them a call to confirm.

Be patient and don't get "new car fever" and jump on anything they offer. Be respectful and fari but firm. Don't be an ***, but in negotiation let them know that you will be buying a car, whether or not it's from them depends on the deal you get. Hey, you didn't walk into the dealership so you don't need the car (I presume). Make sure they understand that.

With the way the economy is and how sales are, and it being the end of the year, I'd think that anywhere from $300 to $1000 over invoice is a fair deal for both you and the dealer. Shoot for the low end but be prepared to pay a little bit more if they offer some concessions, like extended warranty, free maintenance, tint, clear bra, etc.

I got $2000 over invoice 3 months ago btut deals are being had for invoice or just above all the time now. If the dealer you go to doesn't want to negotiate at all, walk away and take your business elsewhere.

hey max to the 37, yes if you shop around you shouldent be over 41. I wouldent go more then 41k.

But also yes if u want tint push for them to add it on and also invest in a clear bra as some1 said above. I herd there def worth it.

And i good way to bang the price down. just go in knowing alot such as money factor etc. Invioce and msrp. Compare them tell them u have dealers going for invioce or even under invioce and you can c how fast they bang the price down.

Best of luck..

Hey xdam please pm on what dealer.
