By "with taxes" do you mean taxes included in the quote? I always ask for "out the door" prices, broken down and itemized.

I guess it depends on what other things you got. Here's the invoice price break down I used to check dealer prices (G37 JOURNEY 6MT will be slightly diff, just check Edmunds). Add it up and that is the starting point for your negotiations. I personally allowed another $200 in fees for my out the door price. Buying out of state, I didn't pay taxes yet, so you'll want to do the math on that yourself to double check.

i've decided to buy from sewell infiniti in dallas. their offer was 37500. vibrant red 6mt with premium package, spoiler, and splash guards. i think invoice was like 36700 or something. that is like 800 above invoice, but they are paying for me and my dads ticket, which is around around 300 for the two of us.

 

WTF is goin on here dealership wanted "4k over MSRP" I dunno maybe American cars compete a lot ever here in Michigan but I had a relatively easy time getting my G for 3k UNDER sticker. sticker was 45.5k for my FULLY loaded 6MT and i got them to budge to 42,350
