what would you guys do?

I'm debating if I should plopped down the money this month to get a G so I can get the 2.9%APR/3 years. Or I can save up a little longer till March or something and get it then. But since I'm pretty new to the market, I'm assuming that the 2.9% is a damn good offer to pass up. Does anybody know of any possible offers that might come out like during the holidays or anything till March?

Or is that 2.9% pretty much deal of the year?

I think it's more of a combination of the fact that you can get such a newly released car WITH 2.9% financing that makes this an attractive offer. I'm sure 2.9 will come around again in the future (or maybe even lower), but at this point in time, it's a pretty darn good offer if you ask me. I'm sorta in the same boat as you are, and am really pushing to get this car this month if I can manage to find a good deal.

Have you tried giving Hussain a call? The offer he made is hard to turn down, they will honor the 2.9APR too. Busy guy though, you gotta keep at it to get his attention sometimes.....

What about end of the year sale? I've read that typically dealers have sales in December for the holiday season and to clean out their inventory. Would it still apply to a new model like the G?

I guess my concern ultimately comes down to if I get 500+invoice at 2.9%APR/3 years right now, is it worth turning that down and wait for December sale?

When do you suspect that'll be?

The promotional rate of 2.9% is good thru November only because November is such a slow month in the car business with Thanksgiving and all. It's the only month in the business that dealerships are closed but no one is giving gifts!

There won't be 0% for G37 as there never was for G35 coupes.

You could keep the $ and do a 3.9 for 60months vs the 2.9/36 and drop the cash in HSBC for 5% return

I purchased my G37 on 11/08. Faced with the same situation, I decided to do it now rather than wait till next year. 2.9% or 3.9% is really as low as you can get. It's a gamble to wait....plus...at a higher rate of let's say 5.5% or 6%.....you'd have to put much more money down.

Fact is...you don't know what the apr offer will be next year. What you know now is that you can get a great offer. In addition, November and December are slow months...probably resulting in the apr offer. Think about it...the vpp employee discount plan has usually taken 3-5 months to apply to a new model. Infiniti offered it to a totally redesigned G37 just 2 months after it launched. That should indicate that dealers are having a tough time selling.

Good Luck.

I have a feeling 1.9% will come, but probably not until next year. By then you could probably also get invoice or near that, but its a gamble. I'm trying to decide if I should go for it. I haven't been able to find one in my area with the color combo's I like otherwise I would of pulled the trigger. I don't think we'll ever see 0%, this isn't a dodge... lol

HAHAHAHAHA I am reading all these replies and we are all in the same boat. I am so confused on what to do....... Anyone hear when the AWD version of the vehicle will come out? I am thinking that something new is coming out with this car for 2009 and they are trying to unload these as fast as possible. Maybe the AWD version will be in the 2009 model. Oh man, why is it so hard to buy a car?

I highly doubt they will change anything in next year's model, just like the G35. The new decade will probably bring in some new features. At least that's my 2 cents.

Difference from 3.9 to 1.9 is only something like $30 a month. 2.9 to 1.9 is even more negligable.

Well >$30 bucks is still over a grand. I think that could be considerable.
