I too have experienced the "bait and switch" where you get a great internet quote only to find that the price they quoted was a "mistake" and it's really for a '07 G35. I sent the internet manager clear explicit email that I had 0 interest in the '07 G35 and yet he continued to try to sell it to me because that's what they do. No worries though, I am in on the Houston Group Deal and will go in tomorrow to sign a pricing sheet and put down a deposit on a 6MT Sport with Premium, Navigation, Technology, and Rear Spoiler in Obsidian Black/Graphite. Edit: MSRP - $2044.

The above is very similar to a deal I was quoted over the weekend in St. Louis. Money factor at .00285 (high vs BMW) though may come down with the Fed rate cut yesterday. With a $2.5k discount from MRSP and a 63% residual value for the Sport Coupe with 6 speed (interesting in that the Journey's resid is only 61% for the same 10k miles/year), 'all in' payment of ~ $600/mo with less than $1k out of pocket.

Doing some quick calculations that number makes more sense as $1500 off with $500 down.

EvilD, Can you post MSRP and sale price?

So anyone have any more recent updates? Has the fed rate cut brought lease prices down? Im waiting till the second week in October to pull the trigger, Im hoping they will come off sticker by then in NY. Anybody in the area that can offer up some info on what kind of deals they are giving now around here? I got quoted last week before the rate cut and they were still a grand over MSRP, but when I was walking out they cut it down to MSRP, still putting the lease up at 575 with 5,000 out of pocket. Im looking at prem/nav journey edition.

Don'g put money down on a lease. Keep that money for your payments. Seems a tad high for 5 G down though to me.

So if anyone else is interested and willing to wait for about 2 months, drop me a line.

Good luck

I'm ready!!! but I'm willing to wait a bit... get together a bigger down payment
