Driver side done

 

Just made it. A little too close for my liking. Gonna get some spacers for the front

 

 

Yup, those are the old front rotors. No wonder it felt like the world was coming to an end anytime I hit the brakes

 

Not the best pic but all done. Both sides installed and bleed. Braking super smooth now

 

Not too shabby considering my commute is the taconic state parkway. My fellow New Yorkers know the taconic is nothing but twist and turns and uphill. Best I got from the maxima was 20 mpg

 

Nothing special. Still need to install the lowering springs,window tint and chrome delete. Still undecided on tire size change. Will wait on how it looks after the spring install and take it from there. Although not high in the list, I also want the akebono calipers for the rear. Mai let just for looks.

 

Haven’t done anything but basic maintenance to the car. The passenger side cat started to sound like a can of spray paint and the the check engine light came. 1 cat from the dealer was 780. So I got 2 Berks for $500. Win win I guess

 

Megan Ypipe and Berks installed finally

 

 

Had no intentions of replacing the Ypipe yet but when the old cat came off,this fell off the oem ypipe.

 

the ypipe connection to the muffler flange was completed rusted and fused together. Had to cut the bolts off with angle grinder. Cleaned up muffler flange and Megan went on without a problem

 

Definitely feel a difference with the HFC and larger y pipe. Stronger throttle response, faster acceleration. Even at 120 it feels like it just wants to keep pulling more. Love it
