Yeah, good enough on the *****.

Oh man, that fender badging doesn't look right at all. I'm not anti-badge, but I think either 3.7 or "S". But together it looks really awkward IMO. No wait, you just posted a further away pic. That big red S doesn't work, IMO. Just my opinion, OP. Your car, your choices, always.

However, nice close-up pic of your new wheels. There's more to that design than you might see at a casual glance. Very nice. There's something about them, like if Jay Gatsby were to buy wheels for his G.

That scripted INFINITI badge you found, I'm thinking of using it on my FSTB now that I've got clearance. (Motor mounts dropped the engine a 1/2") Or maybe the passenger dash like you did. That made a great first impression on me.

I agree with you. I gotta change the "S", have to find a smaller one. But I do like it together, tho. My car, obvious... ... my taste! ... ... just like the back has it all G37 S!

For those who asked me how it sounds, I made a video so you can see how the subs play when the roof is in the trunk!

Look at this picture below.... ... on the new Q50's the "S" emblem on the fender is over-sized.

Yep. But the size difference is less awkward, and the bottom alignment is more true than the centered approach you took. Take your pic and photoshop different options to see if you like things more or less.

Since you got me thinking about this more, because you're thinking about it more, I'd recommend just debadging the fender entirely. I'm not too keen on decals and badges that reference the car's powertrain when there's only one engine configuration available. Seems kind of gratuitous.

Stepping back, it's a lot of brain power about a little badge, but it's what we do, LOL.

Yeah... ... on this one we agree to disagree, bud! It is a sport version (although the engine is the same), so I'm just reinforcing it with the emblems. As far as your recommendation, naaaaaww... ... I don't see it how you see it. For me it's all about looks, I could care less if people know about Infiniti and the single engine configuration all these cars have... ... lol... ... so for as much as I appreciate you sharing your personal preference on emblems and what not, it's not something I will follow... ... ahahahaha... ... no offense, bud! My car, my way, always! But thanks for sharing your view. Always appreciated!

As far as your recommendation on the alignemnt of the "S" emblem, you got a good point. I'll play with it and see if placing the S aligned with the bottom of the other emblems, helps the look and feel of it at all. We'll see... ...

I ordered that brushed aluminum on black, custom "Infiniti" badge. Somewhat excited when it arrived today.

And then some serious disappointment seeing that they sent me a matte-black badge for the F-10 Ford Truck.

Oh WOW... ... spontaneous purchasing at times does this!

Another classy-sporty addition, I'd say... ... side body moldings with a chrom accent in it... ... DYI

Skitzo, thanks for the info on these badges. They finally sent me the correct one. Moreover, they come in pairs, which I didn't expect. And because they screwed up, they tossed in a second pair. So now I have four of these things. Not that I'm going to use all four, but certainly one of them somewhere, and maybe two.

The quality completely lives up to the photos. A very creative and unique script, with a brushed aluminum surface, embedded on black plastic backing. Smaller than I expected, but the size is perfect. They're really, really nice.

Anyway, thumbs up for this find.

I'm thinking of creating a thread about these little guys.

She's finally all UpRev tuned... ... 26hp gains at the wheels... ... before the tune it was at a mere 234hp, after the tune it went up to 260 at the wheels. I was hoping it'd get closer to 300hp after the tune, but... ... being a convertible and having 20" heavier wheels on it, yeah... ... that does it! I'll take the 260 instead of the 234 any day, though!

Overall, any change/increase in numbers are a good thing. I feel more throttle response, different maps added, just feels more robust of a driving experience overall. I really, really like it. Decided against putting a Stillen super-charger for now... ... although I may get the bug again sooner or later. It's turning quite unique. I get many heads turning and the weirdest comment I get often is when people ask me, " WHAT IS IT?" ... ....eheheheeh... ... I like that, because it tells me that they recognize how unique and the different the look is from other G's.

Next thing in line is paint calipers red, and maybe go a lighter more mtallic look on the wheels, power coat them!

I appreciated the tip. I got her all tuned with UpRev. Feels different, more robust, more solid, faster, too!
