Welcome to the world of staggered snow tires, LOL.

You and I should swap a pair and even up.

This time around, I will be keeping the OEM Duckfeet, unless I can land a decent price on some G35 Rays or OEM coupe wheels, so I'll still maintain a decent looking winter wheel. Either way, they will be getting dedicated winter tires, while the NISMOs will be for the summer. Ever tire I listed was a summer tire, Michelin and Continental are Max Performance Summers, and the BFGs being Ultra High Performance. I will wait until the wheels ship and then order a set of tires off of TireRack.

Do you guys think I should do 255/40/19 square or 265/40? I don't want to lose steering feel up front.
255/40 will be a perfect fit at the fender in front, could run more in back but for a square set you'll be happy w/ that 255 and you won't need any spacing.

Hey man, I am totally down for that. I'll be back in NJ this July for good. Let me know what you wanna do.

If the tires are directional, I can't even properly rotate to begin with... I'll weigh in my options. I have the full SPL kit, so tires should wear pretty evenly anyways. A 275 in the rear sounds nice.

Huh. You know, I said that off-hand. But it does actually make some good sense, and could be something worthwhile.

I've never swapped my rears for the front, or the fronts for the rear, so I don't know what the spacer consideration would be either way. Right now I run 15mm spacers in the winter, all around, and that seems just about right. Conservative, even. At the moment, I have Bridgestone Blizzaks LM-60's on the front, with half-tread. And brand new Micheline X-Ice on the rears, full tread.

And I'll be honest, not sure whether I'd want the 7.5" or the 8.5". I'm kind of leaning towards the narrower rim, because snow.

Certainly something to think about and discuss before end-of-year.

I'm fine with the 8.5" all around. You have it worse up in Rochester than I do down in Jersey anyways. You would benefit more from the 7.5" square setup. We have plenty of time to weigh in our options.

Morimoto XB LED foglights were ordered from LightWerkz today along with a set of 255/40/19 Continental ExtremeContact Sports from TireRack. These tires are relatively new and reviews look pretty good. These tires are only 25lbs, meaning my rim/tire combo should only be 46-47lbs.
Still trying to decide and see what HFC I should get for the car. Leaning heavily towards AAM currently.

New wheels arrived today! 2015+ NISMO Forged Rays - Went with 4 fronts 19x9.5 +40

First impressios: WOW, these things are BEAUTIFUL. The finish is immaculate, they're also crazy light weighing in at 21lbs each.

Bad news is that one of the wheels was damaged during shipping, but the John Lee Nissan down in Panama City, FL took care of me and shipped out a replacement along with a return label. It's all good. My tires and coilovers didn't even arrive yet so I'm in no rush.

Great, I'm glad you received confirmation on your XR1 rear dampers before they shipped. Here's to others not having to experience being on the short end of the stick!

Your new KAD build is coming along VERY nicely. Seriously sub'd!

Luckily for me, there is a confirmed application for the RWD G37/370Z, so hopefully I don't have any issues. The Stance damper is actually a little bit longer than the Fortune Auto damper by like an inch.

Nice updates Zahy, now aren't you glad you went w/ those Nismos! You're going to love them even more when you see how nice they fit!
Glad to hear the Nissan shop is handling the wheel issue ASAP.
