yeah i think it kind of gets lost in black. IPL would be awesome because of the chrome accents. however i have seen black Zele bumpers and they still look awesome.

After breaking my VBand Clamp. Finally replaced it and took it for a ride. Had to borrow a pair of tail lights since my current ones are under repair.

Did a few things recently. First, i had removed my rear seat and made my own rear seat delete. Since i have the harness bar on the car, no point in having a back seat.

Second, i wanted to get my car resprayed for some time. I was getting really tired of having more than one shade of ivory pearl. So i decided to pull the trigger. i had a hard time with picking the color. i tossed the idea of going with a blueberry candy blue or something of that nature but i love the white so i decided to respray white with a ton of pearl.

Subtle and eye popping at the same time. Cant really seat much pearl unless under a ton of sun light or under florescent lights. Cloudy days, the car just looks white.

In the end, im pretty happy with the color. very happy with the fact that i have only one shade of white.

And lastly, this one, i know i will get flamed for, but it is what it is.

I decided it was time to part ways with my CF steering wheel. Mainly because i felt like too many people now have the CF wheel. I wanted to step away from that and add to the "racing inspired" interior. Thought it would better fit and i have always wanted a quick release steering wheel.

I went with a Works Bell short hub with a Works Bell Rapfix quick disconnect. The steering wheel is a Key's Racing steering wheel. not everybody's cup of tea, i am ok with that.

What is that seat-delete material?

And you're right, I don't find that steering wheel appealing. Although the CF wheel was over-the-top, it worked with the rest of your dash trim. But specifically, I think aftermarket logos shouldn't be too obvious, and having three KEY!S logos in your face at the same time all the time is awkward and unnecessary. Moreover, the giant KEY!S stitching on the bar itself looks tacky, in a different font even, with stars? That's just not right.

However, there is so much about your car that's impressive, unique and detailed, it doesn't matter to me.

I love watching your build thread and seeing what you do with this hobby. Congrats on your award at that show. Enjoy it, you deserved it.

It is a bit over the top i do agree, but is much more tame than most aftermarket wheels that arent Sparco or MOMO. but both of those also have their issues.

I appreciate the constructive criticism. That is very hard to come by as of late. Too much "nah that is trash bro" comments dont help.

As for the material of the seat delete, i didnt want to use wood so i went to a local craft store after i mocked up the area with some cardboard. i bought some foam board like for school projects. Luckily the craft store i went to had both foam boards that are huge and headliner material. Real easy install/project. Since it isnt going to have anything on it, no need to have anything that stiff or heavy.

It has been a while since i have posted in here. Took the car out for a drive during this quarantine and took a few shots. Also took a quick shot in my driveway when i saw the pearl popping. Hood is popped as i just took it out of the garage so i can grab my lawn mower out. Car stays on a battery tender.
