Hey louith, since it's in your build thread title, how about a little context to that statement? How old are you anyway?
Not that old. turned 35 this year. Thread title came from me turning 30. I wanted a car that was a little more age appropriate i guess lol. The G37 just spoke to me as a car that fit for me. i felt like i should be driving it. When i test drove it, i was immediately sold on it. I was coming from a little Honda Civic, which was modded pretty heavy also. Driving the civic, i just felt as tho i was a teenager in highschool. Tho the car didnt look like it was a highschooler's car.
Thats why i stated "I'm getting older" lol. My daily driver is a Toyota 4runner. my dad mobile as some of my friends call it. With one kid now and another on the way. Needed something to fit that bill also lol
And here all this time I thought you were nearing retirement and having a mid-life thing, when the reality was opposite, and you wanted something more "grown up" than a hopped up Civic. It's all good, either way. I suspect the modded Coupe suits you well, since you have a Dad Car for DD duty.
Thanks for the context.
(ps. That Civic was impressive, but I can see wanting the G over the Honda.)
the honda was blast to drive. i enjoyed it a lot. i miss it often. It came to an end when a deer decided to follow its nose one night and ran in front of me. totalling my car. I had the G and the Civic at the same time. Made the G more of a daily and the honda as the weekender/show car. then the accident happened. Took the money and split it into savings and toward G mods lol. and now.. the G sits
