2008 g37s fi tt

This will kind of be my intro as well as a build thread. I have lurked the forums for quite a long time now back to last winter doing research for forced induction. I initially went with the Stillen supercharger and was slated to have it installed early July. About that time I saw the thread on the 370z board about Fast Intentions doing the prototype for the G37. My build was a week away at that point, but I called FI to see if I could get a kit for the G. They said yes, and after another call to my tuner, the supercharger and some other parts were sent back. Currently the engine is being put back into the car and getting ready for dyno in another week or so. Here is currently what is going in:

FI Stage 1 TT kit
1000cc ID Injectors
GTR Plugs
CSF Triple Pass Radiator
AFE Catback
Motordyne ART Pipes
Z1 34 row oil cooler
DW 320 Pump
CJ Stage 1 Return
Z1 Urethene Trans and Motor Mounts
Whiteline Diff bushings

First off, I want to thank everyone on here and the 370 board for the extensive knowledge I was able to read up on before beginning this. It has saved me lots of headache down the road. I had them check my timing seal on the front (since it is an '08) and they found a crack and slightly leaking oil, had both of them replaced and saved myself an engine pull in the future.

Well that's one great way top start a build thread. Thanks for setting this up as there's many that are waiting to see how the F1 setup works out, should be awesome as all their products seem to raise the bar.

Thank you! Your wheels and tires thread helped me choose the right width wheels with offsets and tires. That is super helpful as there are a lot of combinations, and I really wanted to run stock camber.

Waiting on springs for the BOVs so that they close at idle. Other than that, idle shows no CEL or SES which I am super pumped about. Hoping for dyno shortly after Christmas.

Nice! Do let us know how you like the e-boost 2!

Is that a GaleForce pod as well?

The manual for the thing looks crazy, I will give a good review once I figure it all out and play with it some. It is indeed a GaleForce pod, good eye! He did a great job, would recommend it to anyone. My installer was really impressed with the quality of the pod too.

I am waiting on a custom fitting for the AC lines so that there aren't any issues in the summer with leaking coolant. Not sure if the kit is supposed to be this snug, or if the motor mounts changed some of the geometry to bring the lines closer to the turbo. Either way, it is testing my patience with finishing this thing. My tuner has also told me that the last dyno run was pushing 480 hp, but also 530 something torque. Should I try getting them to lower the torque? Think those numbers are at 9 PSI. Not entirely sure. Hoping to have it back mid next week, but I have been saying that about a month now.
