Thanks blnewt!

Currently the G37 is being stripped of all the suspension bits, and gotta get some repaint on the hood, side skirts and trunk. Lovely Canadian salt weather is the culprit

and do some stuff here and there, that I feel needs attention.
I'll take a pic of its current condition.

You would think it's a parts car currently LOL

Future mod list over winter:
- Paint
- Coupe Seats
- Steering wheel
- Suspension bits (Upper & Lower control, ball joints, shocks, inner & outer tie rods)
- VLSD from a 7AT RWD
- Resonator.

That's about it for now. I'll update this more often as I start digging deeper into the 37.

You mean the stock wheels?
Those were changed out a while ago lol.

Small Update:
Painted the lower side skirt, rear bumpers.
And swapped for 05/06 rear taillights.

~Great job Vic, you don't waste your time, lol. BTW, how do you like the fit of those Nismos? Looks a bit too aggressive in back, but seems that you're making them work. Nice choices throughout, look forward to more details of your latest additions.

blnewt:

So currently I haven't insured the car on the road yet as its 95% ready LOL.
I will update once I've gone for alignment and driven for a week.

The upper control arm I chose MevoTech Supreme from Rockauto.
The reason I chose it was because of the following:

-I work for a company that forge suspension components.
*R&D had bought some aftermarket and OEM suspension to compare and test.
Mevotech was one of them, and they did well.

- I had also bought some upper control arms for the G35. and so far so good. (Knock on wood)

-They ship locally, so shipping was cheap lol

The rotors I bought are made in Canada.
I don't remember the brand. But I had previously ran them, and they held up really well, Alot of spirited driving and they were still nice and straight.
Used the old ones for 2 years and around 50000km.

The tires are Falken Azenis FK453 275/35/19.
I previously had these tires on the IPL wheels. and they were good. Obviously they aren't as grippy as the Michelin PSS. But the price per performance is hard to beat.

When I had the IPL.
In the dry they grip really well, you can feel when they are at their limit under hard cornering, its nice and progressive.
In the wet, the huge channels in the design does wonders.

The sway bar end links were just MOOG. I've yet to get adjustable ones.

So interesting tidbit of info.
The OEM upper control arms are made by NLM (Nippon Light Metals)
The design of it is really similar to the V35 upper control arms.
The Outer tie rods are hot forged
the Sway bar end links are made by THK Rhythm. Its not cheap to get at dealers, but it is really beefy and well designed lol (Made in Japan)

I will get photos of the interior soon. I still have to modify the shifter so it sits lower.

I will get an exhaust clip once everything settles.
I will give an opinion once the shocks settles a bit more

Redfire32:
Sorry.. lol
You know what though, I'm gonna miss driving it once the 37 is out. With those Nismo suspension, the 35 can give other car a run for its money lol
When it gets put in to storage, I will get the wheel refinished and space them out a tad.
But I also may be looking at a Stagea, which shares parts with the G35 : )

Would love to hear what the Tanabe sounds like with the 370 resonators. Currently have Tanabe + Berks HFC but would like some more volume/bass.

So, the exhaust lol, I went and ditched the Tanabe. And went with the setup of Berk HFC --> 370Z Res --> Magnaflow muffler.
The Tanabe were too quiet, and the magnaflows just increases the tone and adds a low growl note into the mix.
Its quieter than just a muffler delete on stock exhaust setup. But I achieve a consistent 2.25" throughout. Since I will be going for a tune in couple months.

And I don't like to have too loud of an exhaust, keep it classy LOL

I'm currently running the Tanabe with Berks HFC. Would love to hear your previous and current setup.

Great progress so far, are the KYB shocks with stock springs?

Ah, I didn't have it for long. So I forgot to record a startup and driving
But I will get time and record the current setup tho soon.

Currently on KYB all around with Swift Springs. Rides better than the OEM Tokico.

blnewt - I'm running -3.8 of rear camber. Its more than what I originally plan to run. but it handles great at that camber setting It gets all the contact patch of my 275 tires into corners.
