thats pretty good. That's about 400 HP at the flywheel. 30% of 319 is 93. 319+93 = 412hp

I think keeping the stock wheels is a must for future resale or trade in. Same goes for all other mods. I also have limited space in my apartment complex.

As for the wheels I would take the lightest set.

That depends on how old the car is, but you bring up a completely valid point, Alfredo. If the car is younger than, say six years, then it's worth more unmodified than modified. Certainly on a trade, mods matter.

GFN, you need to rent storage. Better yet, time to buy a house.

Either way, don't get rid of your OEM wheels. (Mine are now officially winter rims.)

I've already priced out a local storage unit. 5x5ft for 40 bucks a month. That's a tank of gas in my reasoning. Done, and done as far as that is concerned. I've called around, apparently the STR's aren't gonna happen. STR changes around their manufacturing from year to year and apparently this year they wanted to change the offset in the front and the sizing in the rear to make the STR's incompatible with the G37 BBK.

Hecky-darn.

ACE Alloy Convex, maybe? Had my eye on these for a long time, too.

Another clean 10-spoke to the outer lip, with some pretty interesting design considerations.

I think I'm just going to pick up a local set of SSR's with Michelin PSS already mounted on them. The sizing is right, and if I can negotiate price a little bit, I'm sold.

So were you just playing us all along?? SSRs are a quality lighter weight wheel and w/ the PSS you'll be a happy camper. Hopefully you can get the price to a happy place

I spent a lot of time today calling around and looking for sizing, I was unable to find anything that really struck me as worth the price. Those SSR's fit the bill.

Which SSR are you going with? 19s or 20s? Looking forward to see your new shoes

Sweet! So I guess your $1200 budget was per axle?
That's a top notch choice though, look forward to this!

*ahem* so it seems the fitment on those SSR's would be hell to try and squeeze onto a G37. Oh well, live and learn. This hasn't been a super pleasant shopping experience so far. I finally just decided to buy a set of new wheels and tires. I put a down payment on a set of Avant Garde M510's + Michelin Pilot Super Sports today from Need 4 Speed Motorsports. They're sold out at the moment, but they have a shipping container coming in at the end of the month, so they'll be on the car early next month. Hooray.

Everything came in right at budget, the wheels were right around 1200, and the super sports were...well. They're expensive, but they're easily the highest rated tire available for our car.
