Edit: I'm sure you are already looking but I'd head over to GTRheritage and read through the drag forums there for tips. I've never dragged an AWD car and I'm sure setup is quite different vs RWD.

Thanks and yeah he was pretty pissed. I'm finalizing details with FEAL and I'll let you know. They should be pretty badass. You should PM 2GoRNot2G for the coilovers.
FEAL makes some good stuff. I'd be really interested to see a G37x and GTR front damper side by side. I'm guessing the bottom yolk is almost identical. Would be interesting to see if there's a difference in shock body length.

Yeah, my builder pointed me towards FEAL and they look amazing. The only people that really valve things correctly per vehicle. The yolk is probably the same on both. I will definitely post up pictures when I pull the trigger and get them. I've been slowly browsing the GTR forums and picking up tips and tricks. Hopefully we'll get there soon. Thanks!

11.8 is plenty respectable!! I'm sure that is faster than 99+% of us here on this forum. Do you recall what kind of 60ft times you're running?
Oh, and how's that LEVEL 10 tranny holding up? I'm still debating as to whether or not I want to spend ANOTHER $5K on a car that's almost 10 years old.

Thanks! I'll try to get down into the 10's eventually. Not too focused on drag though, definitely built towards time attack (anything else is just a bonus). My 60ft's are what's killing me usually around 2.1. I have to play around with my launch control and see if I can get it just right (also maybe going when it's not 100+ degrees out and super humid may help).
The Level 10 trans is a beast. Still holding very strong without any hiccups. Shifts are still firm/crisp throughout the power band. Easily one of the best investments especially with the added power.

Sounds like your trying to get me to spend another $4K to $5K on my car. LOL... I'm pretty much convinced on doing the full level 10 tranny, but I'm currently in the process of selling my house to move into a very large garage with a house attached to it. So the tranny will just have to wait a little while longer.
It really takes some practice to properly launch an AWD car, especially with how much power you are making. My first real extended foray into drag racing was with a first generation 1991 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX. That car was very heavily modify (way more so than my G) and was pushing around 600 HP out of the 2.0L turbo. Over the decade I owned that car my 60 ft times gradually improved from right around what you are running now, 2.1 - 2.3 on average, to where I was consistently running 1.5 to 1.6 60 ft times... and on street tires no less. That 1/2 second plus reduction in 60 ft time ultimately equated to almost 1 second at the end of the 1320' and put my 1/4 mile times into the low 11's. Rule of thumb back then was every tenth off your 60 ft time equaled 2 tenths at the end of the 1/4. So, if you are able to get your 60 ft times even just down to 1.8 seconds then your probably be pulling off low 11's in the 1/4.
