Wooooooooooooo!! Amazing numbers man!

Slightly off topic, is your diff, axles and rear end completely stock? Not sure if I missed it.

Thanks guys.

Sam: yes, EVERYTHING is stock in driveline. I did add in adjustable camber arms.

Big heavy two piece drive shaft. This may be a reason you won't see the big MPH from my car, compared to an overall lighter 370Z with a light one-piece driveshaft.

so if you do your driveshaft and your rear end to 4.08, then maybe you could break into 10's

Video...

Hi guys,

As promised. (I wish the quality of the vids was better. I have no idea why a 639mb file uploaded to Youtube can look so grainy. Damn 'iMovie'. I hate that program.)

Regardless, the sound is killer as are the runs.

EDIT: I deleted the first video and created a better quality one now.

Enjoy the runs!

Coop

LOL! "You cannot win if you do not play!" (Slogan for the New York Lotto.)

Tracks are open down south. Go for it! So far NO other G37 is even in the elevens. Prove me wrong.

Read the pulldown in the YT vid for all the engine specs. Not stock block.

Damn autos!

Not now. I've talked to Jon at Z1 Motorsports about fitting a one piece driveshaft and 4.08's. He did not have any easy answers for either.

We're on our own to fit this into the car. I'm convinced a 370Z driveshaft can be converted and the gears installed.

Someone out there have a 5-speed auto and have done this gear conversion? Wattles? Someone?

There is someone on the forum with a 5 AT who has done the 4.08 gear swap and reported no issues, cruise control worked correctly and everything. I can't remember who it was, it was a while back.

I have the Z1 aluminum driveshaft (but I'm 6 MT). I love it. It has significantly increased low end pull. You will have traction issues. I am on a stock motor and have good street tires (MIchelin PSS) and can easily break the rear end loose in 1st and 2nd without really trying.

Have fun!

Are you looking into Al or CF? I wonder how an Al one will hold up with all the TQ you're putting down and all the hard launches.
