Until WHITELINE Flat out came out with their SOLID sway bars. Our option were hollow, tubular sway bars. Now we too have an option between Hollow or Tubular sway bars.
Whiteline being 27mm OD front, 24mm OD rear. Has the same balance and rate as our OEM Sway Bars. However unlike any others, their bar is Solid vs Hollow.
Now lets talk about some advantages of Solid Sway Bars.
1. Same OD yet produce precise and adequate load.
2. Less likely to fail, tubular sway bars during mass production require complex machinery and process to precisely bend the tube. Imperfections will produce less than adequate counter balance.
3. Being solid one piece from end to end. Including lever arms, which by the way Whiteline is two way adjustable and three way adjustable rear. More durable and precise balance.
In one word bullet proof solid sway bars for our G37. Yet due to their understanding in balance of our G. Gives precise handling without being too aggressive. Many might understand being solid means more aggressive, which is quite the opposite. Many OEM manufacturers after extensive research are shifting towards Solid Sway Bars.
