can anyone chime in on the minimum sized spacers needed to get these to clear on the stock non-sport wheels? ive read that the bbk upgrade needs either larger wheels or spacers to fit on the non-sport coupes. asking for my g37x. thanks!

G37 Base Upgrade to Akebono Kit
HI I just did this fitting and low and behold my Rims dont fit !!
So I am looking at changing rims now.
I had a question in regards to the Master Cylinder does this need to be upgraded on the base models to compensate the bigger brakes ? or are they the same master cylinder between the Sport and Base??
Thanks guys for your replys.

Hi, can you answer the following questions:
1) Is the PC caliper red paint option CANDY RED? Is the logo vinyl or PC also?
2) Which rotor will last longer, blank, slotted, drilled or slotted/drilled?
3) Does the kit come with instruction manual?
4) I will have my dealer install the kit, but I call the parts/services department at my dealer they have no idea if the kit is going to fit. Is there anything special they need to watch out when installing the kit?
5) Brake lines included?
Thanks!

Answers to your questions below...
Hi, can you answer the following questions:

You can get custom colors, so I believe the answer is yes to candy red. Logo is silk screening. Supposedly more durable than vinyl.
2) Which rotor will last longer, blank, slotted, drilled or slotted/drilled?
Blank rotors should last longer as they aren't as prone to warping as the other style rotors.
3) Does the kit come with instruction manual?
No, there's plenty of DIYs online. Installing Infiniti G37 sport brakes onto non-sport G37 models | G37 Akebono big brake kit installed on G35 and 350z
4) I will have my dealer install the kit, but I call the parts/services department at my dealer they have no idea if the kit is going to fit. Is there anything special they need to watch out when installing the kit?
Everything bolts right on. Only "modification" is to the rotor shields. You'll need to trim or remove them in order for the larger rotors and calipers to fit. I asked my dealership and they quoted me 6 hours of labor. You sure you want them to do it for you? In my case 6*120=720. If you spend that additional dough you could be getting a BBK that's marginally better than the Ake kit IMO.
5) Brake lines included?
Nope, you use your OEM lines. Or if you want to be baller, upgrade to stainless steel lines
Thanks!
