Grabbed a used set of BC Racing BR Series coilovers (divorced rears). My end goal is to have the car ever so slightly lower than stock without worrying about scraping. I'm planning on dropping about 1.25 inches all around, so close to maximum height on all 4 corners. Would anything else need to be installed alongside the coilovers if I don't plan on going too low (i.e: control arms, toe arms, etc.)?
Admittedly, I'm rusty on model differences but you might be able to get away without adjustable FUCAs or RCAs replacements pending model? RWD models may be more forgiving. It is my experience with the AWD model that all control arms will need to be replaced and some modification of the camber bolt hole (won't be able to get in spec otherwise). Lowering puts a lot of strain on other suspension parts (i.e. endlinks); I imagine this is exacerbated without replacing the parts you mentioned.
I lowered mine before getting the supporting cast of parts - things broke over time and needed to replace them anyway so might as well while you're under there right?
