Anybody have information on D2 Racing RS Series Coilovers?
Just bought these D2 Racing Coilovers RS Series. Anybody have experience with this setup? It's serviceable in the US so I shouldn't have trouble finding replacement parts. Advertised as perfect for the street but built for the occasional track day.
RS Series- D2 Racing
RS Series- D2 Racing
Should be similar to the other Taiwan based sets, the Megan, KSport, BC, and several others are quite similar. Should be fine for a daily driver as long as you set up the rear preload properly (the fronts should already be set up). I have the Megan LP street coilovers for about 40k miles now and they've help up well, I'd expect yours should do the same.
Might shoot a PM to Jfisher, he had them IIRC.

You got the "true coilover" configuration, that will simplify the install. What camber kit are you getting? With the true coil setup you can get rid of the OEM lower control arm and run camber arms and toe arms so there are other options for you.

I'd still strongly consider at least a rear kit, your tires will thank you in the long term.

Like Brad said all the Taiwan coilovers are basically the same. If you want less bouncey you're in for a rude awakening. I'm not sure if it was the spring rates or the fact that they're a "true" type coilover, but the rear gave me more bounciness than I liked. They're a good entry level coilover.
