New Bad wheel bearing?

Got my car all sorted to get it aligned. Shop said there is play in my brand-new wheel hub i replaced with a worldpac replacement. Is it possible i installed it incorrectly to cause this, I torqued the back bolts to 65 ft pound and the axle nut to 92 ft pounds.

I'd jack it up and recheck the axial movement myself. If there is a wobble, you may want to establish whether there was some issue with your work. Let us know what you find.

It's possible that the wheel hub itself is faulty, even if it's new. Double-checking the torque specs and making sure everything is seated correctly is a good idea. Sometimes, even new parts can have defects. I had a similar issue once, and after replacing the part again, it was fine. For peace of mind, you might want to call We Insure customer service to see if they offer any advice or coverage for such parts. Good luck getting it sorted!
