Help Is it possible to create mounts for a 3-point front strut tower bar in a g37
So I've noticed the middle area on the Z and so far I'm not convinced that the middle aspect of the brace is actually doing much for the car.
It uses a very thin 90 deg bracket that bolts to the bar and it's spot welded onto the firewall.
This would force you to make sure the third mounting spot needs to be as solid as possible however either OEM Z could benefit from reinforcement or that since the main bar is so wide there very little gain from the rear bars which is why the mounting surface was weak.
Either way it will require some decent modification and possibly cutting into the firewall side to get it to go in. If this is too much and you dont plan on selling you could always cut them off and keep the main bar. Doubt there will be much difference in the feel by not installing.
