Lowering springs with 19s. How low can you go?

Hello. I'm new to the forum. And just got my first Infiniti. 2011 G37X Coupe. I've wanted to get one of these or Nissan Z since the first G35 and 350Z came out. I prefer a manual transmission, and it was upsetting to learn (if accurate from what I have researched) that there's no manual swap conversions for the Awd X models available. But the reason I'm posting is to ask if anyone can give some information on putting some lowering springs in the car. It does not have the factory wheels on it. It's got 19-inch OEM wheels from a Q60 (The previous owner said) with 255 40 19 tires on it. And as of now, it already looks tight with not much room in the back. The front looks like there's a little more room to work with. Is it possible to lower this car with these tires, or will I need to get a different wheel set up or a lower profile tire? I'll try to post some photos if I can. It's got the stock suspension on it now. Any info on what to do or try would be much appreciated. I'm also on a budget, but don't want to put the cheapest springs I can find to put on there. I'm looking for what's available at a lower price but will still be reliable and handle well. I'd like to have coil overs if there's something I can afford. but I haven't heard much good reviews about the cheap no name coil overs found on Ebay and Amazon. Has anyone tried them? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Keep in mind that when you lower the car it completely changes the chassis dynamics, so you will need to to add front adjustable upper control arms and rear adjustable control arms in order to bring the car within OEM alignment spec. If your shocks are old, lowering will also cause them to wear prematurely.

I'd recommend saving for coilovers as they give you alot more flexibility if you are not familiar with all the tradeoffs associated with driving a lowered car.

What do you recommend for coilovers?

I have well over 15,000 miles on a set of BC racing coilovers with no issues.

This thread provides a list of options for the AWD Coupe, but its from 2018, so I'm not sure if all of the companies listed are in business: https://www.myg37.com/forums/brakes-...ispreloading=1
