Paying for all my sins through a stud & spacer installation
So im removing my OEM studs for some extended studs + wheel spacers from Z1. however, for some reason i couldnt take the studs from my front passangers side, weird okay So i move onto the left hoping for some relief and normalcy which i found. but why? drivers side passangers side
theyre not the same, the studs are also different colors. Is this for an AWD? Is it for a G35? because it sure as . Never trust a "clean title", or a G for that matter
im perplexed, what do i do from here??? the studs are ever so slightly longer than OEM and maybe thicker at the head. I doubt the extended studs will clear since the oem ones didnt so who knows, stay tuned.
Driver side= RWD hub (no splines)
Passenger side= AWD hub (the splines are where the axle passes through the hub).
At some point in the past someone replaced the bearing/hub assembly and used the wrong part.
I would be inclined to agree with you, would also explain the G35S wheels it came with, and the g35 sport sedan spoiler as well.
The studs are also a few MM longer and have a thicker head for some reason. Calling it quits until i can get a proper wheel bearing hub/assembly, or an angle grinder.
Check your lug nuts. It's possible that a AWD hub was used and all studs were replaced with different ones. You should be able to hammer them all out and replace with the new ones.

they are different, theyre black and the head is a little wider and theyre about 2mm longer than stock, just enough so its not able to clear at all, going to have to take off the control arm and a few more things off to get the hub out and replace the studs thay way
I doubt theres harm from using an awd hub?

To my understanding almost every hub that is driven by an axle uses the axle and nut to keep the bearing tight. Usually damaged is felt under 20k miles via a bad bearing on that side (common in AWD to RWD converted vehicles) unsure if the hub on the G will go through this.
