Alutec strut brace

I recently did a bunch of suspension work and hadn't really heard of anyone running this particular brace. I'm not sure how much it helped because I did sway bars, spl end links and tie rod ends at the same time. Sits nice in the engine bay and its really light.

I had one. Sold it. It’s top quality with no hinges. Perfect fit. I’m sure there is some benefit to it but I could never feel it. I sold it bc I got tired of taking it off to adjust my front struts (koni)

id keep it and just forget about it

I was thinking it could be a pain in the *** removing it if you do work often or as you mentioned having to adjust suspension often. I can't tell a difference directly from that because of everything else I did at the same time.

The FSTB offers more control when making quick turns at low speeds, like Auto-X. You won't really appreciate it in daily driving, unless you whip your car around off-highway. It's an incremental add to other chassis bracing, summer tires with some neg camber, good dampers, solid bushings throughout, etc.

Thing is with the Alutec, you can't easily unbolt it to experiment.

Recently did tires and wheels, the 265 continentals stick very well. I haven't seen much frame bracing for the sedan. Soul function seemed to have a few things but most said discontinued when I looked on z1. I plan on getting fortune 500 coilovers at some point. I like the swift springs but stock kyb struts aren't helping much.
