Need to replace FLCA and add a camber kit

Took in recently bought car (2011 G37 coupe RWD) for a 4-wheel alignment, and was told that I needed to replace the front lower control arms and add an aftermarket camber kit (it seems to be lowered more than an inch). I have a few questions:

1) Is it a must to go OEM with the lower control arms or would aftermarket parts be fine? Looking on rock auto, I see brands such as Dorman, Mas, Beck/Arnley, Mevotech, Moog, Acdelco, and Delphi. What are your experiences with any of these brands?

2) How doable would this be as a DIY? I've done quite a few stuff to my car alone so I have a pretty basic grasp on how things work, but I am no professional by any means.

3) I don't necessarily want my car lowered (I thought that it was stock when I bought it) so if I go back to stock height, I would not need to install a camber kit, correct? Also, in that case, which parts would I need to get my car back to stock suspension?

Thanks.

If depends on how it was lowered. But yes if you go back to stock height then you wouldn't need a camber kit. You could do aftermarket for the flca.

For upper control arms you can either go with SPC or SPL. I have SPC and no issues been having it for almost two years now and I am lowered on Swift springs running -1° of camber on all corners. For lower control arms you can go with aftermarket and the best experience I have had is with Moog. The upper control arm is fairly easy nothing to complex. The lower control arm isn’t hard to remove either but will take the longest time. As far as placing it back to OEM height it various on if it is on lowering springs or coil overs.
