Wides tires with staggered setup on 2015 q60 awd
I’m in the planning stages of getting some new wheels and tires for my 2015 q60, which as far as I’m aware is basically the same as a g37. They being said setups that fit on a g37 should fit on my q60 right? I’ve been researching this lately and have read about it being okay as long as the diameter is the same in the front and rears. I was planning on doing a 18x9.5 wheel on the fronts and 18x10.5 in the rears. Now my question is if I were to do a 305/35r18 tire on the rears and a 275/40r18 or even a 265/40r18 on the fronts would that fit. I’d be willing to do some trimming to the rear bracket but don’t want to do any fender modifications and absolutely no camber. I have been unable to find any threads with anyone running wides tires, any feed back or links to threads of people running set ups with wide tires would be appreciated. Thank you
You need to mock it up on the car. Take the wheels off and lower the jack until the car sits level again. If you know the offset of the wheels you can measure from the mounting surface in and out to find if it will rub. For the fronts you'll need to turn the wheel to find if they will rub while cornering. I'd be worried about the outer side rubbing under acceleration in the rears.
