Weird Noise from Engine Compartment

Hello Everyone!
I'm having Infiniti G37s 2008. Lately I've been hearing a whining sound whenever I turn the steering wheel. Any ideas?

Are you low on power steering fluid?

Low steering fluid or you have a leak and there is air getting into the lines. Causes the pump to whine. Get it checked asap to prevent further damage.

Might just be air in the system. Jack up front wheels off the ground and turn the ignition to on without starting the car and turn lock to lock 20 times with the power steering cap off. If there was air the level might have dropped so double check.
