Banjo Fitting Brake Lines on Akebono Calipers

Recently installed this Brake Upgrade Package on 2010 G37S. https://www.z1motorsports.com/z1-pro...ge-p-4490.html.

Held back on installing brake lines since I am looking to also paint calipers in the near future but also because I noticed a different brake lines configuration than original.

OEM brake line fittings for Akebono calipers are straight at the end. The lines that came with the Brake Upgrade Package kit have banjo fittings at the end. Z1 also sells brake lines with straight fittings just like the ones installed but recommend to use the banjo fittings to avoid "more points of failure". I looked this up and it seems the banjo fitting lines are longer and so they will work.

Attached are 2 pictures. One is the banjo fitting installed on a rear brake caliper/line (can't tell if it's Akebono) and the other one shows where the 2 brackets that come with the front brake line with banjo fitting would need to be installed for it to work.

Has anyone installed this banjo fitting lines on Akebono Brake Calipers?
