Rotors warped after tire rotation?

Just had a routine service done on my G37x sedan (oil change, tire rotation). I have always had good luck with this dealership. I had the front and rear brakes changed about 12k miles ago, factory parts. After my tire rotation, I noticed a very slight pulsation in the rear when braking. I have heard of instances of this happening because the wheel bolts were put on way too tight. Has anyone else had this happen? I will say that the rear rotors were warped at 15k miles when we first bought the car, so it is possible they are just not lasting very long. I am hoping they are just wearing and the technician wasn't careless putting the bolts back on.

Doubtful tires caused rotors to warp. How many miles are on the car, your calipers could be binding

Rotors rarely warp any more. You could be sensing the first stages of uneven pad deposits, which commonly occurs on cars that are driven gently. Try performing the brake bedding procedure to see if that gets rid of the pulsation. It cost nothing more than a little extra gasoline.

I agree with the whole "rotors don't really warp anymore" but you can definitely still get an uneven condition by over-torgueing the lug nuts. Have you re-torgued the nuts?

more likely than the other other suggested scenarios, the shop that replaced the brakes didn't bother re-greasing the slide pins/didn't sufficiently grease the pads and they are binding now...these are commonly cut corners

Probably the tires. Did they get balanced when they were rotated? I have had tires that caused what you would think is warped rotors. Got rid of the tires got rid of the vibration. But you might be okay just getting them balanced.

Given the timing, I'd say it's likely someone went all Nascar on your lug nuts with an impact wrench. Go properly torque your lug nuts and see if it goes away
