Warped Rotors need new ones 2010 g37X

Was wondering which Rotor/Brake pads would be best for performance and a step up from OEM.

Also was wondering if the coupe and sedan Rotors/Brake Pads are the same, and if what the sizes of the rotors are.

Thanks in advance!

What do you have, coupe or sedan, RWD or AWD, Sport or non-sport?
Chances are your rotors aren't warped but just have a buildup of uneven pad deposits. A high speed scrubbing of the rotors will tell you pretty quick if they are warped. BE SURE TO PICK A SAFE STRETCH OF ROAD W/ VERY LIGHT TRAFFIC. Do several cycles from 60mph down to 5 (hard braking but not locking up) but don't come to a full stop throughout. Once you do 4 or 5 cycles let them cool down w/ easy driving for about 15 minutes then see if the rotors have smoothed out.

Coupe AWD non sport.

I've done some cycles of 60-5 after reading the forums. My rotors have rust on them and just seem to be warped at this point.

Warped rotors are pretty much a myth. Almost all shuddering is caused by brake deposit build up. There are several write ups from several brake engineers that work for companies that are out to sell you rotors that talk about how it is almost impossible to warp a rotor.

If you're sold on getting new brakes, rotors will be 330mm front 330mm rear. Centric premium rotors are a good choice and if Hawk 5.0s are available for your model I'd look at them, Stoptech Sport pads will work well too, but you'll need to clean your wheels more often.

Stoptech z32 kit. Has rotors pads and hardware. Both front and rear can be bought for under 500. Rotors are cross drilled.

Yes... but define *cheap*. Cheap as in not $2500 brembo BBK - yes. Cheap as in rotors + calipers + lines if needed + pads = ~$1000, yes.

There's a thread on here (look for DIY big brake kit) that goes through parts needed. I think it's just the banjo bolts. I'm on mobile or I'd give you a link.

FWIW, there's a few sets of calipers in the For Sale section - some with the stock lines (such as mine LOL)
