Never used torque sticks but I think I'm going to get that Bauer corded impact, it's $95 w/ coupon and get this torque stick as I take my Jeep wheels on & off a lot.
They torque to 130 ft lbs and this 120ft lb stick should save time and not worry about over-torquing.
Just found this, was informed on a reddit thread that it is almost identical version of the Bauer (looks like same exact specs except Amazon tool has 450ft lbs max torque but same 1050 ft. lb breakaway torque) on Amazon for $75!

Yea, he found the torque stick would not completely stop turning the lugnut with the mid torque impact but almost came to a stop. It still got in the ball park but you have to watch the nut and stop pulling the trigger when it looks like it’s trying to stop. He was testing w a milwaukee.

I never heard of torque sticks!! So it just acts as a torque wrench and it can be used with an impact gun?
I think I'll have to buy an 80 ft/lb one for my wheels, it would make life 2% easier.

Ended up getting the Bauer 1/2 corded impact and 10pc torque stick set last weekend. I used it today for tire rotation on my Toyota truck (85 ft. lb spec)
Tool seems very capable (and heavy), broke the lug nuts free like they were already loose, lol.
I thought I could use the torque sticks in a progressive manner starting w/ a 65 ft. lb then a final run w/ the 80 ft. lb, and a final 85 ft lb w/ my hand torque wrench. I used the 65 stick, checked torque and it was within 5 ft. lbs, I then used the 80 stick and the nuts didn't budge. For these sticks to work properly the nut must be in a loosened state, so I loosened them, then used the 80 lb stick and walla, right at 80 ft lbs give or take 5.
Must say this tool seems like it will have no problem w/ crank bolts and most any other fastener that you will deal with for automotive uses. But I WOULD NOT use this for tightening nuts & bolts without using a torque stick, since this impact has no torque adjustment it would be way too easy to over-tighten.
Here's that stick set, starts at 65ft lbs and goes up to 150

Impacts are for removing, not tightening anyway. I wouldn't want to use an impact to tighten anything important. For instance, if I am pulling wheels I will buzz the lugnuts on real quick but I go back over it with at least a breaker bar so I can feel the tightness.
