Widest wheel size without looking silly?

Hey everyone! I’m looking to purchase Michelin pilot 4S’S within the next week for my sedan. Very excited! Coming from Dunlop super sport maxx. Tire size is 225/50/18 all around. I’m looking for a square set up in order to get the most life out of them. My question is what width, 225-245, would you recommend in order to keep within OEM spec and without the tire sticking too far out from the wheel? I’m on Swift sport springs. Very mild drop. Sales associate told me 245’s all around would be fine but I wanted to check the forum to be sure. If you guys have any pics to post in order for me to get an idea look wise, that would be great. Thanks in advance!

That's you tire size, not your wheel size. I'm guessing you have the Anniversary edition spoked wheels which are 18" x 8.5". 245 fits that just fine.
