abs and slip light on

My abs and slip lights come on when I am braking at low speeds and it doesn't come on instantly some times. I can drive on the freeway at 80+ and it doesnt come on. I have a 2011 g37 sedan rwd and the tires are staggered but im pretty sure that's fine. I have topped off brake fluid and changed brake pads already and this problem still occurs. Any ideas before i take it to the dealership?

Could be a wheel speed sensor. If you have one use an obd scanner to find out what's up, if you don't you can get one for pretty cheap from amazon.

OBD Fusion with the $15 add-on for Enhanced diagnostics will do the trick:

Front are 245/35/19 and rear are 255/35/19 and the rear are sticky ps4s if that matters. They don’t have tpms and are stretched but pressure is about the same

The ECU stores OE tire diameter and rumor has it that changes greater than 3% will trigger warnings. You're at -4.1% and -3.1 % F/R.

I see people running staggered setups with even wider tires in the back but I haven’t heard anyone complain that these lights on come though

It's not just width or stagger, you have to figure the appropriate aspect ratio to keep overall diameter within 3% of the OE number.

Stock front is 225/50-18, rear is 245/45-18 giving overall diameters of 26.68 & 26.86 inches, respectively. Your diameters are 25.75 & 26.03 inches, respectively. Appropriate 19" tire specs are 245/40-19 and 285/35-19 to stay within 0.5% of OE diameter. 275/35-19 also works for the rear and is a more common size.

There are numerous tire calculators on the web.

So I put my stock wheels back on and the lights still come on. But the thing is that those light originally came on after a day of driving with my new wheels.

If you can clear the codes, do that and see if they return.

All the codes return? The CAN bus error is worrisome. The CAN bus is the main electronic route for the car.
