Looking for 18inch 'all season' 'inexpensive' tires

I've got some 18 inch wheels lying around , and I'd like to put inexpensive 18inch tires on them. Anyone know of anything from TireRack that's on the discounted nearly half off list?

There are going to be my inexpensive tires I use to 'put on miles'. Not looking for performance, just looking for milage. (but hey, if you found someone with some inexpensive performance 18 inch tires that can fit 8 inch rims, feel free to suggest

245/45/18 would be the widest I'd go, here's a list of all those sizes in an A/S which is what you'd want if tread life is the priority~

Of those I'd go w/ these for best bang on a budget~

A 235/45/18 is the best size on an 8" width though, so here's another list to check through~

Of those these would get my vote on a budget~

'best bang on a budget' is my band name.

Tires ordered. I'm finally going to make use of those 18 inch wheels I bought last year.

Now to go find a deal on a impact wrench (with battery) so I can swap out my 'touring set' for the 'performance set' on event days

just tried to put on the 18 inch wheels, after changing brake pads. Nope, the 18 inch wheels will not clear the front calipers. There's a 'ridge' on the inside of the TSW wheels and its hitting my calipers. So much for the post https://www.myg37.com/forums/private...ml#post4062946 which reported they could fit any G. So, either I'm missing some step to get them to fit, or they just don't fit.

Oh well, so, I'll likely be selling not only the wheels but also brand spankin new tires I put on them. These were going to be a backup set for me. Turned out to be a very expensive error on my part.

Damn, that's bad news, did you buy them new from a vendor? If so maybe they can help w/ some compensation. If not maybe you can find someone without a BBK nearby that would like them so you wouldn't have to take a huge hit. Could also find another set of 18s that have confirmed clearance so you could remount the new tires and just resell the wheels.
Hope you get some help w/ this.

EDIT~Did you buy those from Omega (the OP in the thread you linked?) He stated that they cleared Akebono brakes so either he didn't have Akebonos and was assuming they'd fit or maybe a spacer was involved? Not seeing them firsthand I'm just speculating.
