Anyone with true coilovers running the megan MRS-NS-0321 rear lower arm or something similar along with removing the rear spring bucket? Megan Racing

Usa made. Quality metals. Or step up and go spl. Titianium and backed by time.
I see plenty of cars in japan using megan suspension components and other people stateside using their coilovers without mass complaints of failure. Voodoo does make some quality products along with SPL and T-demand. Im just wondering if the arms Im questioning will adjust camber and toe all in one. Or if it is better to get camber and toe arms separate?
What he said. When you have true coilovers, you can remove the spring bucket and install toe arms in their place so you don't have to adjust it using the stock toe bolt. I have Voodoo13 toe arms on mine and they are holding up just fine.
thats what I thought but the link provided says "allows adjustment of camber" I've only seen people in Japan use this arm and wanted some info on it from anyone stateside that might have it installed. Does the toe arm really help a lot more than toe bolts offered? Is it for people with track cars or something? I see a lot of people utilize the toe bolts with camber kits and don't have any issues. Trying to debate best route for camber and toe adjustment without unessacery pieces. I don't mind camber if toe is in spec. Oem equipment is getting old and want to replace it. I have an 06 by the way. Thanks for all the info thus far.
I imagine that page is at least partially copy pasted for several of their suspension pieces. To adjust camber you will need a different arm.
For the record, this item:
Adjustable Rear Toe Links for the 350Z and G35 | SPL Parts
is a substantially better design, using better materials, and the people that manufacture it know their parts well enough to have the correct description on its page. Just saying...

Anybody know how much weight is saved with removing spring bucket and replacing with like a spl or voodoo rear toe arm?
Just bought ksport coils.
Ill be ordering both camber and toe arms more than likely so I'll have results in a week or so. Just curious if anybody knew off hand.

I doubt the weight saved is going to be worth raving about. If you're looking for performance on weight reduction, get light wheels, rotors. Rotational weight reduction will be more beneficial than a few pounds of static weight.
yep going 17x8 silver rpf1 for wheels and going to delete the bucket either way with spl toe arm. Just curious about the weight. I dont know what a good guess would be but maybe 10lbs (complete guess) lighter total for both sides lighter with toe arms. Lol and at this point all the minus -5lbs -10 lbs and -20 lbs here and there have really helped add up to maybe 120-150 lbs.
They're fine but the SPL's are better. The Voodoo toe arms have a stamped metal fork on the outboard side whereas the SPL's are braced. The Voodoo looks like it has a solid turnbuckle body however which should be pretty stout. The SPL is a good chunk more and does have a better locking mechanism. Both use quality bearings.
From what I remember, the lower locating arm, the one that holds the spring, isn't super heavy. You'll save a few pound regardless. The new Q60 went inboard with it's spring and it's now a true-type coilover in the rear.
