Where do I apply grease between a pad and a shim?

Preparing to do a brake job on my 08 G37 Sport. Should I apply grease in places 1, 2, and 3 or just in place number 2? (see pic) According to this video:
grease should NOT be in pad holes. Please advise. Thanks guys

I put a thin layer of grease the entire rear surface of the pad in the area underneath the shim. Also a little on the clips where the shim attaches to the back of the pad.

You also want to put some on the contact points where the pads touch the guide pins.
