Nismo Suspension?

I currently have Eibach springs and the bounciness is getting old after almost 6 months now. I live in Houston so those who know, the roads suck in a lot of areas. I need some coilovers and I'm aware of BC, KW, Tein, etc. A friend of mine thought of Nismo coilovers as they are "track proven" but does anybody know of any G's running this?

I also know of someone who drives a g35 with pretty much every aftermarket nismo part on his. While I'm waiting on a reply from him I also wanted to know if anybody knows the compatible part number for the G37.

Are your shocks blown? They should ride pretty close to stock but firmer. I don't think they have Nismo coilovers for V36.

I don't think they're blown. And I just found out they don't make for v36.

Check the sedan RWD coil-over sticky in the suspension forum for a fairly comprehensive list. Despite entitled "sedan", almost all are actually built for the coupe.

If you want OEM, look at the IPL shocks. They'll be valves more aggressively. Just remember the G is a good deal heavier than the 370 and the spring rates and shock calving may be (should be) different. Ultimately, any lowering spring will take an OEM Shock out of its preferred stroke and lead to premature wear.

Decided to buy D2 RS Series coilovers. I'll see how they are personally. I can barely find information on these for the G so I guess I'll be a guinea pig.

Should be similar to the Megan/BC/KSport sets, should work well for a daily driver.

How do the IPL shocks differ compared to stock on an S? Does it sit lower?

They're matched to the IPL springs so they'd be valved differently. The IPL suspension is a bit more taunt than the S overall but the ride height is identical. Will not lower the car. If you're not trying to lower the car, the IPL setup is going to be better than the Nismo 370Z suspension as it's specifically for the G, its increased weight, and length.

Koni yellows fit the RWD cars

Do you want adjustable height, dampers, or both?

Rears, yes, fronts, no.

You might be able to swap the Koni guts into the X shock bodies like the WRX/STi guys do, but IDK
