....I hope this isn't the case. I spoke with Jason at GetYourWheels and he assured me they would be right around 22lbs, but I'll definitely clarify that. I'm not in the business of spending that kind of money twice for a shoddy product.

So between the info above and the other link, we can surmise the 18" S (sedan) probably weigh somewhere around 25/26 lb. Not the lightest but not the heaviest either.

Yeah well I thought the SSR Weighed 22.3lbs when they arrived yesterday they weighed in at 24..
If those wheels are gloss gunmetal you figure paint and the gloss also adds weight to the wheel as well

That makes sense. I emailed Jason about it and also asked about the TSW Bathurst. That's supposed to be light weight

See, that weight is perfect for me. I'll see what I can do today. The style of rim isn't bad either, especially if I have a few color options though GetYourWheels.com

Might send a PM to member Ryne, one of his Bathurst cracked.
I'd look into something from the Work Emotion line or Wedsport

Yup, I had the TSW Bathurst wheels and one cracked in less than a year. The finish was rapidly chipping and had under spray in areas where you could see primer from day 1. I honestly cannot recommend the wheels.

https://www.myg37.com/forums/wheels-...st-wheels.html

Coincidentally, I've also had Forgestar wheels. Didn't really have any issues with them, although I've heard people complain about those cracking easily as well.

The exact weight of a wheel will depend on the offset you pick. Wheels like Forgestar have such a wide range of offsets they can't note them all so they pick an average.

They will be replaced with Work wheels. If you do buy one of those nice Japanese brand wheels, make sure you buy center caps, they are not included (or cheap lol).

since I bought new rims I was able to compare the weights between the two..
here are the number's
20x9 255/35/20 Vossen CV1 61.4lbs rim and tire
18x9 255/40/18 SSR GTV01 50.2lbs rim and tire
so a savings of 11.2lbs per wheel

So....of course this couldn't go the right way again. Got my wheels from Getyourwheels.com through jason. I gave him the specifications on the tires I purchased and he assured me the wheels would fit. Purchased 245/40/19 Proxes and the wheel which he assured would fit is a 19x9 inch. I originally purchased a set of wheels that were 19x8.5, and even noted to him that's the size I thought I should purchased but he just sold me the 19x9 version.

So of course they don't fit (offset is bad apparently) and im becoming very irritated. Can't resolve it until Monday, but hopefully Jason can take care of this before it becomes messy.

If this was his choice to send you the misfit wheels then it's on him to make it right. He has good feedback so hopefully this will be resolved in a manner that will make you happy in the end. And ditto Chuckie, what specs did you end up with on the wheels? A 19x9 with an offset of +35 would be a good fit, not too flush but would look proper in the wheel well (as an example).
Do you have any pics of them on your G?
FWIW It's common for some vendors (Vossen tends to do this) to push real aggressive fitment that may be too flush/tight for some, this may be the case here but

Sorry to hear you're going through this.
