New (?) SPC front camber arm - 73005

Just noticed this part number on SPC's website, and it's a major design change and improvement over their other offerings. Price is higher though, but it seems like a great solution. Anyone have any experience with this yet?

I like that design BUT have fun adjusting those with equal caster on both sides

If that's what you're willing to spend I'd 100% pay the extra $200 and get the SPL's. These SPC arms don't solve the "adjustable" on the car problem like the SPL's do.

Caster adjustment would be far easier with those, than the old design.

Equal turns= Camber

Turn 1 only= camber and caster.

Equal opposite turns = Caster not camber

Since there is no preset caster selection like the old ones (my preference), not only will you be raising and lowering your car to adjust the camber but the caster is interconnected and has to be adjusted at the same time AND both sides need to be exact...have fun with that!!!

Maybe if you could match the arms to the OEM upper control arm to get a starting point it would help out

The design looks good! All you would have to do is turn the turnbuckles to adjust. At least you don't have to uninstall them like some others. I also appreciate the rubber bushings and sealed ball joint. I'd run these if I were in the market.

This is extremely intriguing

While I do have the SPL upper control arms, I acknowledge that there may be some design flaws. When I was in the market for UCA's, SPLs were the superior of 3 options (older SPC version and kinetix). Given the SPC has a bit of a poor reputation, I would be a bit wary. Design doesn't throw any flags; I am unsure of worksmanship.

See post #43 here: SPL Parts Prototype GT-R Adjustable Front Control Arms - Part 1 (install) - Page 3 - Suspension & Tires - GT-R Life

edit: just noted the pricey price

Its a no brainer.

I have the SPL, it's the same manner of adjustment.

Once camber is set by equally turning both sides in the same direction, caster can be adjusted by turning equally in opposite directions, while maintaining camber.

If one is knowledgeable, one can actually adjust both at the same time.

Stop being chicken little, its an improvement.

There's also the Voodoo arms but from what I've read, the SPL's have more adjustment range and no interference issues. The Voodoos look great though.

Don't recall the member name but someone is using their rear arms and look to be a nice option.
Those Front UCAs look pretty nice.

I had heard of those, but didn't know they were in the sub $700 price range. Hmm. Those look to be very well made.
