OEM spring with aftermarket strut?

This might sound weird and stupid.

but can you put OEM spring with aftermarket strut?

so will be OEM ride height with stiffened ride?

any ideas?

I don't see why not although if you are awd there really isn't any aftermarket struts available.

thanks for the input.

I am going to put back the stock spring with tein basis struts, to gain some ground clearance.

I am just tried of hitting the speed bumps around my house...lol

Be careful w/ that. Coilover springs typically have different seats than the OEM sets, they have to lay flat against the adjustment collars, the OEM springs won't do that. Have you run out of adjustment room on your Teins?

FWIW just about everyone that lowers their cars gets tired of hitting speed bumps, it's the toll you have to pay to be low
