Eibach Owners...Clunking sounds?

I am considering a set but I have been told that they are noisy and make clunkign noises when you hit bumps. I had Eibachs on my Galant and never heard a peep. So I am wondering if anyone has had any "clunking" noises from their setup. If not, did you get new shocks or roll with stock shocks?

When I had Eibachs I didn't have any noises or any clunking either. I had them with the stock shocks too.

This might be what I am looking for. I don't think that it would be an issue, but you know once someone puts a bug in your ear you have to check everything again to make sure you didnt miss anything! I'd hate to get these springs and then everytime I hit a bump have to hear some damn noise...might drive me nuts. Thanx guys

Not sure what can be the problem because there should not be any noise at all (considering everything else stock). Only thing I can say is to make sure it was installed correctly and everything tightened to spec.

Is it coming from the rear? Check to see if the strut top nut is tight and the rubber gasket that sits between the strut and chassis is present. Those two things were causing a clunking for me in the rear. And, are sure the two top nuts holding the struts front and rear are torqued to spec. The front strut nuts seem to back out once the car had settled.

I dont have them yet. Iwas just curious because of something I heard from someone else. I too think that if they had noise, they were not installed properly. My last car that had em never made a sound either so I am confident that when I get them they will be fine. Thanks for the info guys
