Which brake pads?
Which brake pads?
I've read a bunch about the brake judder issues on this platform. There are several options for replacing brake pads but I can't seem to figure out which is best for my style of driving.
I've got an 09 g37s so it has the sport brakes. I'm going to resurface the rotors but I'd like to get better pads that will help prevent further 'warping'.
I drive it like a sports car but I don't track or autox.
I also would prefer not to drop $200 on pads. Brake dust isn't a concern for me.
I'm thinking it's best to stay away from ceramics right?

Stock Brake System Bed-in
If brake dust isn't a deal breaker than Stoptech Street Pads FTW, rockauto.com has nice deals on them. Will require a bed-in as per this link

I've bedded in hundreds of pads for customers without complaint so I'm confident there.
They're a para aramid composite, here's some info

It's relative, there will be more rotor abrasion but you won't be burning through rotors w/ these pads. Compared to a ceramic pad w/ less grip there will be somewhat shorter rotor life, but not enough to deter from purchasing.
Makes sense. Thank you for the assist. You're awesome brotha
