Okay, so, after much time, I have finally decided which wheels I want to order. I have a 2011 G37 sport coupe, mildly lowered with Swift springs. I may eventually switch to coilovers or airbags, but that will be a long time IF that ever happens. Have lots of other things I'd rather purchase before doing so.

I would like a fairly aggressive/flush fitment, but not looking to stretch tires. Want to run 245/35 & 285/30, but 265 or 275 in the rear isn't out of the question so long as the wheels fit correctly. I am not opposed to rolling and pulling my fenders. As my car sits, I have just around -2 camber in rear. I can get a camber kit, if necessary, but I like the look for now.

I am going to order the Weds Maverick 709M, staggered: 20x9 & 20x10.5. Can you please help me with the best offsets to order for my wants/needs? Suggestions, and pictures are appreciated. (I have been scouring Instagram, and asking many people what they are running.) I don't want to order custom wheels, only to be unsatisfied later and have to buy spacers

 

What are the available offsets?

 

Any offset I choose. They're two-piece wheels with custom offset in any 1mm increment.

For BBK clearance it would be best to contact Weds and see what the most conservative offset would be for the front wheel w/ a lo disc and still clear the Akebonos then go from there. That will tell you if you'd need to go to hi disc. I'm thinking you'd need hi disc w/ an offset in the +25 range up front but if you can get a lo disc w/ a bit more conservative offset that would be an option.

 

If you go to page 2 of the .pdf, you see the 20x10.5 is available in the reverse lip. Although, I am going to send an email right now to Weds and inquire about the disc. Thanks for that advice.

According to Mark at RavSpec, the 20x10.5 +35 will have approximately a 90mm lip in the rear, and the 20x9 +30 will have a 54mm lip. I'm just wanting to make sure this is the most aggressive setup I can go with without needing lots of modification and to avoid rubbing and other fitment issues. I just want the largest lip possible. If I were to be able to squeeze out another 10mm in offset, it would equal nearly an additional half inch of lip.

Just wondering if any of you have run similar wheel and tire sizes with similar offsets? This is quite a bit of money to spend, only to wait a few months and then have the wheels arrive and be faced with some fitment issues.

It is in my nature to damn near over-analyze everything, so that is basically what I am doing before I put a deposit down on these wheels.

 

This is one of those situations where over-analyzing isn't a bad thing, it's a lot of green to plunk down along w/ the wait, don't want ANY surprises.
The wheels don't have much in the way of concavity so going hi disc wouldn't be too detrimental to the aggressive look of the rim. I'd imagine that would be the route to take to get you the biggest lip and still clear those calipers.
RavSpec are great w/ wheel fitment so they won't steer you wrong.

What I've gathered so far is that I need the hi disc +30 in the front, and s-lo disc +35 in the rear. It will yield a 2" and 3.5" in the front and rear respectively.

Awesome to get such a detailed reply, that setup is about what I envisioned as far as the disc choices and offsets. Should be an awesome look when you get it together. Keep us posted. I think your initial combo of 245/285 tires should be just fine w/ those wheel specs. I doubt you'd have to do any fender mods, maybe the rear bumper bracket shave but that should be it.

That's probably close to what I will be going with when I finally place my order. Looking like it'll be early next week.
