TEIN and their coils...thoughts?

Well after ALOT of searching and digging...sifting through forums...and long nights of contemplating lol I decided on TEIN Streetflex coilovers (an "Evolution of their FLEX system"). I wanted a set that wouldn't be overly stiff for DD but had some range so that when I do want to occasionally track the car throughout the year I can feel pretty confident. This seemed to fit the bill. Also, based on a video review by rallysport on the recently released ones for the FRS amd BRZ, the construction quality seems very top notch and built to last. Rust and corrosion issues have even been addressed as this was a previous problem from what I understand.

Now I know TEIN has a track record of spotty customer service but aside from that....does anyone have some thoughts their coils performance or about TEIN as a suspension?

Thought I'd throw this out there as i dont see them recommended much....KW is the fan fave. These coils seem dramatically improved over the predecessor. So anyone with some thoughts chime in!

This blurb from their website is what sold me that the flex coil system
was a quality kit.

"Nurburgring 24h-Race is known to be the toughest race in the world. TEIN put in "TYPE FLEX" damper, the same one readily available on the market, which was considered to be unfavorable for the race.
Some say that just finishing the race is even quite difficult without the proper shock absorber. The vehicle fitted with "TYPE FLEX" clinched the class victory! Not only mono-tube system that is good for racing, but TEIN also is capable of pursuing the performance of twin-tube system, as "Nitouryu" manufacturer. The win in this 24h-race left the historic footmarks of the 21st century, proving TEIN's high technology." (This was put on their site comparing Twin Valve and Mono-tube and each ones effectiveness as well as addressing common ideas about the two)

This is the coilover kit I purchased

I don't know much about their history but I have had many positive experiences with their products. Customer service for me was pretty good as email responses were quick and they were able to answer some technical questions via phone. Most importantly their office is very close by which I can drop off my dampers if I ever need to get them rebuilt. Furthermore their rebuild prices are very reasonable.

That's good to know that they are responsive. I was a little hesitant because of what I was seeing on forums about them but the price was right so I went for it. Glad you have had a good experience with them. They seem to be a top quality company. I'm really looking forward to the coils. I'm not very fond of the stock suspension. How much did they charge for a rebuild if you don't mind me asking?
