Probably the best practical dd sport summer tire out there. I've had great luck testing them and my customers complaints are zero. Only thing we found was a tad more road noise compared to others but it wasn't a big deal. Great choice!

I just put these tires on my 08 coupe in a staggered setup. 245/45-18 frt, 275/40-18 rr. The car had Hankook Ventus v4 all seasons on it before in stock sizes. The Comp2s have better traction in the wet than the Hankooks had in the dry, and they are actually quieter than the Hankooks. So far I am really impressed with them.

I plan on it when I get some more miles on them, and the weather gets a little closer to their design parameters. It's still a little on the cool side for a summer tire here, but I'm really happy with their performance so far. They have TONS of wet grip, even in the cool temps!

I couldn't wait to ditch the Goodyear RS-A all-seasons for some summer tires. Went with the Comp2s. I've had them on for a week now breaking them in. Temps outside have been in the 80s and sunny here in SC. But so far their a grippy strong cornering tire. I expect them to be even better when the summer kicks in and the temps reaches the mid and upper 90s.

Bet you think you're driving a completely different car now
Can't believe they put such a mismatched tire on a car w/ 300+hp, those RS-As belong on minivans.

Yeah, again. My DD for the last 4 years was a '03 Altima 3.5 with 222,000 miles on it. Going from that to this was a huge HUGE change. Now with the tire swap the steering is much more nimble and sensitive. Bigger difference than i was expecting swapping from the RS-As. The RS-As a're a softer ride if that's what you're looking for. Like you said though, they belong on a minivan, not really a good match for a G37 Sedan.
