Calling all KW Variant 3 Coilovers users

I splurged for the new years and I got an awesome deal from Lance (1cleang) for my suspension setup. I got KW V3 coilovers, SPL Front and rear control arms, SPL front and rear endlinks and SPL midlinks. I would like to know what everyone that has KW V3 has their coilovers set to? I'll probably getting mine installed next week. This way it'll help me let the installer know what settings to tell them to put it on. I read someone had theirs at 11 up front and 9 in the rear. Thank you for all the input.

most people just stick to the settings out the box, that should be where you start as well.

Great, thank you all for the help. I've did a search and looked at posted dated back to 2009 and can't find too much except for the one person that did 11 in front and 9 in the rear.

Now the only issue is getting the alignment done correctly. Just saw a post of someone taking it to Firestone and they can't get it close to 0. I was about to buy the lifetime alignment at Firestone.

Ok so I got my coil overs and front and rear camber arms mid links and front and rear end links. I get there and the guy is telling me the rear is so high. And it is. Holy hell It's like 50inches from the ground to the arch.
The first picture is the wheel gap. Sorry for the bad photo shoot.
The second is a picture of the spring with the mid link.

The last one is the front. Does the front look too low or is that normal?

TIA!

Don't see any pics and also want to state that why would you want 0 camber? That is no bueno from a performance aspect.

Got it from your statement below and just assumed you meant camber (maybe you were referring to toe?)

That does look very high. Something isn't right...

edit: I think I found the answer. You can't use midlink with KW springs because you are supposed to seat the spring INSIDE the perch and NOT outside. In the picture you can see your KW spring is sitting on top of the perch.

Think he ordered a new one because I don't see the OEM perch in that pic.

It looks like the mid-links are the culprit, the OEM control arms have a deep trough for the lower spring bucket and the SPL mid-links are much higher, at least from the pic you provided. Is there a way to bring that arm lower?

Here's a photo of a regular coilover OEM setup, and if you notice you'll see how much of the spring goes down into the bucket, with no bucket your spring is much higher, resulting in that huge gap. Please don't drive it.

Sorry I edited my previous post somewhere up there...

But I found your answer here
The bottom of your KW spring ID is way too large for the midlink.

Correct setup SHOULD look something like this

Like blnewt said, you should NOT drive the car until you get that taken care of.
